Growing up in the French Riviera, Delphine was raised to appreciate the simple elegance of French style. Taking inspiration from her grandmother Jacqueline (born Sorel) she adopted the “less is more” mindset. Delphine remains drawn to the juxtaposition of healthy and hedonist that underpins the French way of life as exhibited by her grandmother. Taking the name Sorel is Delphine’s way of honouring the strength and elegance of Jacqueline.

Delphine was drawn to the beauty profession early in life completing her vocational training in Beauty & Cosmetics at ‘Ecole Gontard Elegance’ in Nice, France. After falling victim to the 90’s skinny brow trend she resolved to find a better way of caring for her eyebrows. Through her trainings she discovered how a set of well-balanced brows can accentuate the face in the most incredible way. From that moment on she was obsessed with eyebrows and her passion has only increased over time.

Arriving in Australia in 2010 Delphine brought the allure of French style to local Sydney salons, most recently working alongside Kristin Fisher at Kristin Fisher Eyebrows. After a decade honing her expertise, she is proud to bring her vision to life at Delphine Sorel.
